Lowe表示今年夏天和篮网商讨过杜兰特交易的球队似乎准备重启谈判。他说道：“我认为杜兰特的交易不会很快发生，也不知道会不会发生。但我知道的是全联盟现在都准备好（和篮网）重启杜兰特交易谈判了。”
今年休赛期，杜兰特曾向篮网提出交易申请，后来又决定留队。
